Sweet Puppy Love


Supplies Needed

Font of choice – I used Cutie Patootie here

Vix mask 451 here

“Sweet Candy Love” is a tagger size scrap kit created by Crystal of Crystals Creations and can be purchased from Digi Divas here.  You can visit her blog here.  Thank you Crystal for such an adorable kit packed with such sweetness!
  
This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Open up Paper 9.
In your color pallet, close out the foreground.
Set the background to Pattern - look for Paper 9.
Make your Ellipse Tool active set on Circle
Create a 600 x 600 circle.
Objects/Align/Center in Canvas.
Right Click on the circle in your layers pallet and choose “Convert to Raster Layer”.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Gaussian and Monochrome checked
Noise: 48%
OK

Click anywhere outside of the circle with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Selections/Modify/Contract by 12.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Selections/Modify/Contract by 6.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 6 Into Selection.
Click the Lock Icon at the top of your layers pallet to lock this layer.
Adjust/Blur/Radial Blur:
Match your settings to mine –

Click the lock Icon at the top of your layers pallet to Unlock the layer.
Deselect.

Copy and paste ee4 as a new layer.
Resize 55%
Free rotate Left 45 degrees.
Duplicate 2 times for a total of 3.
Move all 3 into position – see my tag for reference.  Be sure the middle frame is behind the 2 frames that are side by side.

Highlight the rear center frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Highlight the frame on the left.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Lock the paper layer by clicking on the lock icon at the top of the layers pallet.
Adjust/blur/Radial Blur:
Use same settings.
OK
Unlock the layer by clicking the lock icon again.
Copy and paste ee18 as a new layer below the frame.
Move into a position you like.
Right click on it in your layers pallet and choose “Promote Section to Layer”
Lower the Opacity to 44.
Close out the original element layer.
Deselect.

Highlight the frame on the right.
Repeat the above step accept open up the original element layer and move it beneath this frame and continue with the steps.  Once you’re done you can delete the original element layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
Ee18:  Resize 80%
ee25:  Resize 60%
ee17:  Resize 45%
ee10:  Resize 60%
ee20:  Resize 35%/Duplicate/Mirror
ee7:  Resize 50%/Duplicate
ee6:  Resize 40%
ee19:  Resize 30%/Duplicate
ee5:  Resize 20%/Duplicate
ee40:  Resize 45%/Duplicate/Use Pick tool to turn one of them slightly.

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 120%
Merge Group.
Duplicate the mask layer.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #000000
Background: #007486
Close out the background color for now.

Make your Ellipse Tool active set on Circle.
Set the width to 1.00
Create a circle slightly bigger than the pink glitter circle.
Objects/Align/Center in Canvas

In your color pallet close out the foreground color and open the background color.
Make your Text Tool active.
Move your cursor along the center top of the circle you just made until you see a rocking A.
Click your mouse.
Your Text Box will appear.
Type your name, hit the space bar twice.
Highlight your name and the 2 spaces, right click your mouse and choose “Copy”.
Click your mouse anywhere in the blank area of your text box.
Press Ctl + V – your name should have appeared again.
Keep pressing Ctl + V until you see your name appear all the way around the circle.
(If that step is too difficult then just keep typing your name again and again until it appears all the way around the circle).
Click on the + sign in your layers pallet.
Click on the eye of the New Ellipse layer.
Highlight Vector 1 layer.
Right click your mouse and choose “Convert to Raster layer”.

Close out your white background.
Save your tag.
